Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 18 August 2026

These terms govern your use of directivecompliance.co.za and any purchase made through it. By placing an order you agree to them.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Directive Compliance Systems (Pty) Ltd, a private company registered in South Africa.

  • Registration number: 2026/002540/07
  • Registered address: 8 Crystal Close, Kloofendal, Roodepoort, Gauteng, 1709
  • Email: info@dcscompliance.co.za
  • Phone: 065 074 8009
  • Website: directivecompliance.co.za

We are not currently registered for VAT. All prices are final and no VAT is charged. Documents issued are invoices, not tax invoices.

2. What we sell

We provide compliance services and products to pharmacies and healthcare providers, including SOP compilation, mock inspections, reference material, pharmacy layouts, and licence application assistance. We also provide temperature and humidity monitoring systems to pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, laboratories, veterinary practices, cold storage facilities and food industry businesses.

We are a private compliance consultancy. We are not the South African Pharmacy Council, SAHPRA, or any regulatory body, and we are not acting on their behalf.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in South African rand and include everything except delivery, which is charged separately and shown before you confirm your order.

Payment is processed by Yoco. We do not receive or store your card details at any point. Your order is confirmed once payment is successfully authorised.

Services quoted per project — including pharmacy layouts, site plans and licence applications — are priced individually. A written quotation will be provided and is valid for 30 days.

4. Delivery

Delivery terms are set out in our Delivery Policy, which forms part of these terms.

5. Digital products

The Reference Pack is delivered electronically. Access details are sent to the email address on your order once payment clears.

The Reference Pack contains official legislation and publicly available regulatory guidance. It does not include commercial publications such as Martindale or the SAMF, which you must obtain separately from their publishers.

Access is granted for your own pharmacy’s use. You may not redistribute, resell or share the material with other businesses.

6. Subscriptions and recurring services

Monthly compliance and monitoring plans are arranged directly with us and billed separately from this website. Terms for those services are set out in your service agreement.

Annual plans purchased through this website are paid in advance for a twelve-month period beginning on the date of purchase.

7. Monitoring hardware

Monitoring hardware becomes your property once purchased. The setup fee covers the hub, sensors, configuration and delivery.

Hardware is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. If a unit fails under normal use within the warranty period, we handle the claim and arrange a replacement on your behalf. Damage from misuse, power surges, liquid ingress or tampering is not covered.

The hub is registered to a monitoring account managed by Directive Compliance Systems so that we can collect readings, issue alerts and produce your reports. If your monitoring plan ends, reports and alerts stop and the device is removed from that account.

The monitoring system depends on your internet connection and mains power. We cannot alert you to a temperature excursion during a period when the hub has no power or connectivity, and you remain responsible for your own stock and records.

8. Your responsibilities

Our services support your compliance. They do not replace it.

If you are a pharmacy, you remain responsible for your compliance with the Pharmacy Act, SAPC rules, Good Pharmacy Practice and all applicable legislation, and your responsible pharmacist remains accountable for the pharmacy at all times. If you are not a pharmacy, you remain responsible for your own compliance with the regulations, standards and legislation that apply to your industry and premises.

We rely on the information you provide. If it is incomplete or inaccurate, our work will reflect that.

9. What we do not guarantee

We do not guarantee any particular inspection outcome, application approval, or regulatory decision. Those rest with SAPC, SAHPRA, the Department of Health and other authorities, none of which we control or influence.

A mock inspection reflects our assessment on the day it is conducted. It is not a pass, a certification, or a warranty of the result of any official inspection.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service concerned.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost stock, regulatory penalties, or business interruption.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies.

11. Intellectual property

All material we produce — SOPs, reports, layouts, reference compilations — is licensed to you for your own use. Copyright remains ours. You may not resell it or supply it to other businesses.

12. Cancellation and refunds

Set out in our Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
